Wonderful Eve

I love to share about this evening.

It was so cool, was driving solo with a light melody sung by my favorite music maestro illayaraja. I thought of meeting my friend T.R. (that's how i used to call him) Prabanjan so called him. We met in a blissful blue background with heavy traffic. It was lightly raining, i felt so much that many had missed this situation. Great evening. I started sharing my new thoughts which i got from Mr. Robin Sharma (motivator) while i was having a cup of coffee with him last night (i was reading his book "Greatness Guide" with a cup of coffee). He felt happy and invited me to have a cup of tea at our favorite place in Coimbatore "Cha Bar" (we go often and have a discussion with a cup of tea). 

We went inside "Cha Bar" there was a surprise for us. Yes a book launch function was yet to start. The people invited with a great smile and offered  juice. The function started. There was an inspired chief guest, i have never seen him much closer it was Mr. Krishnaraj Vaanavarayar(an industrialist and great speaker). The book was about a person Late. Mr. Thiyagarajan, a journalist of Times of India - his experience in Queen of Hills - Ootacamand, her history, specialities etc. The book was by her wife Mrs. Shantha Thiyagarajan. It was received by the chief guest and a book reviewer reviewed the book. The chief guest told his experience in Ootacamand and also remembered the press people to focus on this book. They agreed. Then the author told us about her experiences about the book. Later we had an interaction session, many people from the press interacted. As usual we listened what they were expressing because we believe that a good listener is a great teacher or a leader. Some people came and boosted about themselves. The author was quite, calm and listening to them. Great author, she was also a journalist. She was quite emotional while expressing about her late husband. I felt the love towards him in her eyes. 

After the function, we planned to get the book. The people there, requested us to get a signature from the author. This is our first time to experience a book launch. Wonderful. We went near her and gave the book, she invited us with a smile and a hand shake. We told her that we just started reading English book and yours in the second. She stood up and appreciated us. This was the first time we got appreciated by an author. I love this evening. Finally they gave us some banana cake and paneer roll. We had it. We came here for a cup of tea but we got more than that. If we eat we get digested often but if we listen and learn it stays. Love to listen and gain knowledge but we should also eat to live. Its all in the game.

I saw a good wife this evening who had fulfilled her husband's dream. 

I saw a good author who had given us a wonderful book. 

I saw a good listener who listened to the words expressed by the others. 

I saw a good human being who was calm, respectful and more than that she encouraged us. 

I suddenly thought of recording this incident today. So i am posting in my blog and i have also written it in my journal so that my people can read my experience.
